Honor has made waves all over the world with its Magic V3 foldable phone , which it recently introduced in China . The device stands out with its thinnest design among foldable phones, and Honor has now announced new artificial intelligence (AI) applications developed in collaboration with Google Cloud for this device. The new AI applications promise users top-level productivity and will be available just before the global launch of the device.
Honor Magic V3 announces AI features co-developed with Google Cloud
Magic V3 will be equipped with AI-powered apps like AI Eraser , Face to Face Translation, and Honor Notes Live Translation . Let’s start with the AI Eraser feature. This feature is quite similar to Google Photos’ Magic Editor. It allows users to easily erase unwanted people or objects from a photo. In the demo video, you can see that this feature effortlessly removes people from a landscape photo.
The Honor Notes Live Translation app offers a similar experience to Samsung’s Galaxy AI tools. It allows users to recognize spoken language and take notes as text. Additionally, the
Face to Face Translation feature can instantly translate conversations using the Magic V3’s external display. This can be especially useful when traveling or communicating in different languages.
In addition, thanks to the “Magic Portal” feature in MagicOS 8 , the operating system of the Magic V3 , users will be able to open two applications at the same time in multitasking mode. All of these new features will be available to users when the device is introduced worldwide at the IFA event in Berlin.
